As a Help Desk Analyst, you'll be the first point of contact for IT and business system support across Scholastic's Australian and New Zealand operations. You will be motivated and customer-focused when conducting your daily tasks.

Based at Lisarow on the Central Coast you will also work closely with Scholastic's local and international IT teams, business partners and vendors to resolve technical and operational issues to ensure business continuity across both countries.

What we are looking for

· You will have a friendly disposition and thrive helping and supporting others.

· A robust desire to listen to and assist all employees with their support issues.

· Ability to manage and prioritise multiple requests.

· A knowledge of, or the ability and desire to learn Windows OS, MS Office,

networking and business systems skills.

· Ability to become a Superuser of our many and varied business systems.

· Ability to work independently to see tasks through to their completion.

· The confidence to ask when you are unsure and deliver when you are.

· 1-2 years IT Technical knowledge and experience

· Must have current Australian work authorisation

Key Responsibilities
Technical Support & Issue Resolution

· Deliver responsive IT support across our AU & NZ teams

· Support user of our core business applications (Netsuite, Oracle WMS etc)

· Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and network issues

· Log, track, and resolve tickets while monitoring recurring issues

· Communicate technical solutions in plain language to users

Collaboration and Vendor Escalation

· Work with users and internal support teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.

· Provide clear communication to end-users and maintain a strong customer-service focus.

· Coordinate with Vendors and business partners to ensure timely resolution of issues.

IT Operations and Project Support

· Participate in software rollouts, hardware refreshes and infrastructure upgrades.

· Participate in the rollout of new and upgraded business processes and systems.

· Assist with user account management and software installations

Security and Compliance

· Follow IT security policies and procedures to protect systems and data.

· Report suspected security incidents and assist with basic remediation steps.

· Support rollout of updates, patches, and endpoint protection tools.
