Our client is looking for an experienced Accounting Clerk to join their team on a temporary contract. This role, based in Melbourne's inner suburbs, provides an excellent opportunity to utilise your accounting expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Invoice Management: Raise and process invoices, including third-party billing.
* Payment Processing: Handle EFTPOS payments, manage cash receipts, and perform debt collection.
* Accounts Payable: Perform accounts payable tasks with accuracy and reconciliation.
* Record Maintenance: Maintain patient records and manage admission, eligibility, and third-party pre-approvals using webPAS.
* Administrative Support: Provide support to clinical and management teams as required.
* Aged Debtors Monitoring: Monitor aged debtors and process disconnections and Demand Notices where necessary.
* Reporting: Prepare monthly debtor reports for the Financial Controller.
* Office Management: Maintain supply ordering/receipting, filing, and general administrative tasks.
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Ability to manage payments, records, and reporting effectively.
* Familiarity with webPAS or similar systems is a bonus.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
