Project Architect

About the role
This is an opportunity for a Project Architect to take ownership of projects from inception through to completion within a fast-paced, design-led environment. You will be responsible for leading project delivery, coordinating internal teams and external consultants, and ensuring outcomes meet both design intent and commercial requirements. The role requires strong technical capability, confident project leadership, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts across complex architectural work.
Key responsibilities
* Lead projects through all phases from feasibility through to delivery
* Manage coordination between clients, consultants, and internal teams
* Oversee design development and technical documentation
* Ensure projects meet compliance, budget, and program requirements
* Provide clear direction to team members across documentation and delivery
* Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle
* Contribute to design quality and project outcomes across all stages
Essential experience & skills
* 7+ years' experience in architecture with proven project leadership
* Strong background in industrial, commercial or infrastructure projects
* Experience across feasibility, masterplanning and DA stages
* Strong design capability combined with technical expertise
* Advanced Revit skills (essential)
* Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
* Strong communication, coordination and team leadership skills
* Experience managing consultants and project resources effectively
* Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities
* Interest in industrial architecture
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in Architecture
* Professional registration preferred
