Chef – Trinder Park Aged Care (Woodridge), Cook with Care, Lead with Passion
Employment Type: Casual Position (Flexible to work across all days)
Remuneration: $38.17 - $39.15 per hour (includes 25% casual loading) + Super + Salary Packaging + Access to staff discounts & perks

More Than Just Cooking
- Prepare and present varied, nourishing, and appetizing meals that align with dietary needs and preferences.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and efficient kitchen environment, maintaining hygiene and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with catering staff, residents, and care teams to enhance meal services.
- Lead and support kitchen staff, fostering a high-performance and team-driven culture.
- Manage kitchen finances, including menu planning, budgeting, and stock control.
- Evaluate and improve catering services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resident satisfaction.
What You Bring to the Table
- A relevant trade qualification (Cert III or Cert IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent).
- Experience working in a commercial kitchen, ideally in aged care or large-scale catering.
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to mentor and guide staff.
- Knowledge of safe food handling practices and WHS compliance.
- A valid Queensland Driver’s Licence.
- Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
