Your new role
Within this challenging and rewarding position, you will be responsible for:
* Managing and maintaining a wide range of network and security technologies to ensure their optimal operation.
* Implementing and maintaining network & security infrastructure.
* Developing and maintaining network documentation.
* Troubleshooting network issues and performing root cause analysis.
* Participating in project planning and implementation for network upgrades and migrations.
* Performing physical and logical network deployments and migrations.
* Acting as the escalation point for network-related outages.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Demonstrated experience managing and maintaining systems, cloud, network & security infrastructure.
* Strong knowledge and experience with Cisco routing & switching, Fortinet / Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco Meraki Wi-Fi and Cisco Umbrella / Zscaler SASE.
* Prior experience in the delivery of Network & Security projects end-to-end.
* A tertiary education in Information Technology, as well as Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto and Zscaler certifications are preferred.
* Previous experience working within MSP, Consultancy or Education sector organisations is advantageous.
* A valid driver's licence.
