Centacare FNQ is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Services Worker / Driver to join our team weekdays, from 8am - 11am. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others stay connected, independent, and engaged in their community.
You’ll be part of a supportive team providing transport and activity support to clients who are living independently but may experience physical or cognitive limitations.

What You’ll Do
- Provide safe, reliable, and friendly transport for clients to and from Centacare programs and community activities.
- Maintain Centacare vehicles in clean, safe, and roadworthy condition.
- Assist with daily program delivery, activities, and special events that promote social inclusion and wellbeing.
- Help maintain a safe environment for clients, staff, and visitors.
- Deliver services that support the physical, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs of clients.
- Complete vehicle checks, record‑keeping, and incident reports in line with Centacare policies.
- Participate in regular meetings, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience or knowledge in client or community transport services.
- Understanding of Home and Community Care or similar community support environments.
- Commitment to person‑centred practice, independence, and community inclusion.

Essential Requirements
- Current Driver’s Licence suitable for operating Centacare FNQ vehicles.
- Ability to obtain a National Police Check and Blue Card (No Card, No Start).
