The Community team leads the strategy, governance and delivery of key community investments, including partnerships, sponsorships, grants, workplace giving and staff volunteering, to help communities thrive.
Reporting into the 'Senior Manager, Community Programs', you are responsible for helping to protect and enhance Australia Post's reputation and its social license to operate.
This role is instrumental in developing and delivering on the Community Strategy and managing strategic community programs for the enterprise.
You'll be responsible for:
* Manage and implement community programs and partnerships to deliver on the enterprise strategy
* Develop operational plans for key community initiatives and projects, and grant management and execution
* Support the development of community programs and partnerships for the benefit of the organisation, its team members and Australian communities
* Cross functional collaboration and strong relationship development to champion the voice of Australian communities
* Deliver best practice community initiatives that engage our workforce, community and customers to enhance Australia Post's brand, reputation and market profile
* Undertake post implementation analysis of community initiatives to ensure learnings are captured, drive improvements and report impact and return on investment
About you
You are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of Australians. You have a strong understanding of the not‐for‐profit sector and advocacy bodies within Australia Post. You are action‐oriented, build strong relationships both internally and externally, collaborate effectively with stakeholders to deliver programs, and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
What are we looking for?
* 3+ years' experience designing and delivering community programs in a corporate, not‐for‐profit, or equivalent environment
* Experience designing and delivering philanthropic programs, including grants and workplace giving initiatives
* Experience measuring and reporting social impact across community programs and partnerships
* Knowledge of grants and workplace giving platforms
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong project planning and execution skills
