Commercial Property Manager Role
This role offers the opportunity to oversee a diverse portfolio of leased properties, driving proactive relationships and positive outcomes with landlords. Key responsibilities include managing lease events, leading makegood negotiations, and partnering with internal teams on strategic property decisions.
* Portfolio Management: Oversee the end-to-end management of a national portfolio of leased properties across various landlord types.
* Liaison and Negotiation: Act as the key liaison between our business and landlords, driving proactive relationships and positive outcomes through effective negotiation and communication skills.
* Critical Lease Events: Manage critical lease events, including rent reviews, renewals, relocations, and exits, ensuring compliance with lease terms and maintenance obligations.
* Makes Good Negotiations: Lead makegood negotiations to ensure compliance with lease terms and maintenance obligations.
* Partnerships: Partner with internal teams on space planning, capital works, budgeting, and strategic property decisions.
Requirements
* Experience: Proven experience in commercial property management, ideally on the tenant/client side.
* Knowledge: Strong knowledge of commercial leases, property law, and makegood obligations.
* Negotiation and Communication Skills: Excellent negotiation and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with landlords and internal stakeholders.
* Organizational Skills: High-level organizational skills and the ability to manage a large, fast-moving portfolio.
* Confidence: Confidence working across multiple landlord types, including institutional, government, and private owners.
* Property Management Software: Experience with property management software and lease database systems.
