About the role: 
Encara's Allied Health team is rapidly expanding. We currently have multiple roles available across South East Queensland for Allied Health Assistants with a special interest in Podiatry. The Podiatry Allied Health Assistant role is based in the residential aged care setting, attending to general foot and nail care as referred by a Podiatrist or Registered Nurse. The role is aimed at supporting Encara's podiatry team to deliver consistent podiatry care for residents.

What your role will include in Residential Aged Care: 
Basic foot and nail care for residents; 
Working within a multi-disciplinary team at the facility, such as Registered Nurses and Care Managers, along with Encara's Clinical Podiatry team; and 
Documentation of clinical notes following each treatment. 
Required credentials: 
Minimum Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (Podiatry specialty preferred); 
National Police Check; 
NDIS Worker Screening Check; and 
COVID and Flu Vaccinations.
