Secure Water Resources with a Pivotal Role
The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Hydrogeologist to lead strategic water planning and integration across our iron ore operations.
This role is responsible for developing and executing water management strategies, including mine dewatering and excess water discharge management, to ensure long-term water security and operational efficiency.
* Develop and execute comprehensive water management plans across multiple operations.
* Oversee regulatory engagements with government agencies and native title bodies to secure water licences and permits.
* Direct the preparation and submission of compliance reports to meet regulatory requirements.
* Provide technical expertise to numerical modelling teams and interpret groundwater modelling results for strategic decision-making.
You will report to the Manager – Water and lead a team of hydrogeologists, engaging with stakeholders and overseeing regulatory processes.
