Role Purpose
The Tree Sales & Sourcing Specialist is responsible for driving tree sales and securing suitable stock to fulfil customer orders. The role requires strong industry knowledge, the ability to source advanced trees from multiple suppliers, and the commercial awareness to price, quote and close sales accurately.
This role manages the full lifecycle of a sale — from enquiry through to sourcing, order confirmation and delivery coordination.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Client Management
* Manage inbound sales enquiries via phone, email and online channels
* Advise clients on suitable tree species, sizes and alternatives
* Prepare accurate quotes and pricing
* Follow up quotes and convert enquiries into confirmed orders
* Build and maintain strong relationships with landscapers, builders and designers
Tree Sourcing & Procurement
* Source trees from multiple nurseries to meet client specifications
* Assess availability, quality, sizing and lead times
* Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers where required
* Organise substitutions when original stock is unavailable
* Maintain up-to-date supplier knowledge and contacts
Order & Logistics Coordination
* Confirm orders with suppliers and freight providers
* Coordinate delivery schedules and pickup logistics
* Ensure correct documentation, quantities and specifications
* Monitor orders through to completion
* Resolve issues relating to availability, delays or substitutions
Administration & Systems
* Accurately enter orders into internal systems
* Maintain CRM records for customers and suppliers
* Assist with invoicing and order reconciliation
* Keep records organised and up to date

Skills & Experience
Essential
* Proven experience selling trees or plants
* Strong knowledge of tree species, pot sizes and advanced stock
* Experience sourcing stock from multiple nurseries
* Confident communication with trade and private clients
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple active orders simultaneously
Desirable
* Wholesale nursery or advanced tree supply experience
* Existing industry relationships
* CRM or quoting system experience
* Logistics or freight coordination knowledge
