You will support Director-led accounting teams, manage statutory obligations, and provide internal guidance on company secretarial requirements. Key Details • Full-time, permanent opportunity • Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 inclusive of super (depending on experience) • Location: Melbourne inner city fringe (office-based role) • Immediate start available The Opportunity You will be an integral part of the administrative and corporate compliance function, supporting Directors and client service teams. Key responsibilities include: • Manage company incorporations, deregistrations, and structural changes • Prepare and lodge ASIC forms, including changes to directors, shareholders, and officeholders • Maintain and update company registers and statutory records • Oversee annual review statements and ASIC compliance obligations • Prepare minutes, resolutions, and corporate documentation • Liaise with ASIC and external stakeholders regarding regulatory matters • Maintain compliance calendars and ensure statutory deadlines are met • Manage high-volume corporate documentation accurately and efficiently • Work with BGL 360 and electronic workflows • Provide support and guidance to internal staff regarding company secretarial requirements • Support Director-led accounting teams with high-volume client work • Assist with end-of-month reporting and monthly billing procedures • Provide overflow PA support including diary coordination About You – What You’ll Bring You are a polished and confident professional with prior corporate secretarial experience in an accounting firm. You understand the importance of accuracy, confidentiality, and client service in a professional services environment. You will bring: • Proven experience as a Corporate Secretary within an accounting firm (essential) • Strong working knowledge of ASIC regulations, forms, and compliance requirements • Experience using BGL 360 (highly regarded) • Proficient in MYOB Accountants Enterprise (preferred) or Xero • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and high-volume compliance work • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills • High level of professionalism and discretion • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work autonomously within a structured professional services environment • Sound judgement and understanding of corporate governance principles Potential for Growth This role offers the opportunity to deepen your corporate governance expertise and gain exposure to senior Directors and client service teams, with potential progression into broader administrative leadership roles.
