Job Description
The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking a skilled professional to oversee operations at community correctional services locations. As the Manager Court Practice, you will be responsible for direct supervision and oversight of advanced practitioners and supervisors in court assessment and prosecutions services.
You will work closely with highly skilled case management practitioners to strengthen existing transitional practices and improve outcomes for complex and high-risk offenders. This role will also contribute to developing partnerships with local community services, including courts and local police.
This is an ongoing, full-time role based in Mildura. You will participate in an on-call after-hours duty director system as rostered.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage teams and resources to ensure smooth delivery of services
* Monitor financial performance, resource, and staffing requirements
* Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risk and improve outcomes for clients
We seek a candidate with extensive case management experience, particularly with complex and high-risk clients. A relevant qualification in social work, human services, or criminal justice discipline is desirable.
