Compton Green Enterprise Services (CGES)
Compton Green Enterprise Services (CGES) is seeking an experienced Gardener / Land Management professional to join our growing Field Services team.
This is a hands‐on, full‐time role delivering high‐quality gardening, landscaping and land management services across a large portfolio of sites throughout metropolitan Melbourne and parts of regional Victoria. The role forms part of a bespoke Victorian Government contract, focused on maintaining safe, welcoming and well‐presented environments, particularly early childhood facilities.
About the Role
Based out of our metro Melbourne depot, you will be deployed daily across multiple properties, working with modern equipment, systems and processes as part of an energetic and professional team.
You may come from a range of backgrounds including horticulture, landscaping, grounds maintenance or facilities services. What matters most is your pride in your work, your experience delivering contracted services, and your commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintenance of gardens, turf and landscaped areas
* Grass cutting, pruning, weeding and general site presentation
* Executing scheduled and reactive works across multiple sites
* Working in line with contractual, safety and quality requirements
* Contributing positively to a growing, high‐performance team
About You
* Proven experience in gardening, horticulture, landscaping or land management
* Experience working within contract or facilities‐based environments
* Strong understanding of Occupational Health & Safety requirements
* Reliable, organised and able to work across varied locations
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Mandatory Requirements
* Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Ability to meet early childhood site safety and compliance standards
