What you'll do:
Support the smooth operation of the branch to ensure equipment is ready for dispatch
Manage work orders, purchasing, and procurement for the rental fleet
Provide hands-on support to service technicians, including issuing parts and materials
Maintain stock levels, process purchase orders, and receive goods
Operate forklifts and assist with yard operations, including stocktakes and equipment movements
Load and unload equipment from trucks, complete paperwork, and assist with inspections
Carry out minor services and repairs (e.g., oil changes, leak repairs) under guidance
Maintain a clean and organised store and yard environment
Oversee third-party contractors working in the branch
Champion safety protocols and contribute to a zero-harm culture every day
What you'll bring:
Full driver's licence (forklift licence and First Aid certification preferred)
Experience in a similar role (stock handling, procurement, work orders, yard responsibilities)
Computer literacy and knowledge of stock systems
Mechanical aptitude and a proactive, self-starter attitude
High-level organisational skills and attention to detail
Strong listening, fault-finding, and problem-solving skills
Commitment to safety, honesty, accountability, and performance
