**Job Overview:** We are seeking experienced mechanical designers to deliver high-quality engineering solutions for submarine systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver mechanical, structural, and piping system designs and drafting tasks to meet project commitments
* Ensure engineering outputs comply with industry standards and company processes
* Produce quality drawing outputs consistent with established industry standards
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve integrated engineering solutions
* Provide regular task updates and ensure alignment with project priorities and objectives
* Pursue improvement opportunities to drive results in relation to program cost, schedule, and quality
About the Role:
* Experience as a mechanical designer supporting the delivery of engineering solutions is essential
* Trade experience/qualification is highly regarded
* Proficiency in mechanical design, including preparation of production-level drawings and other documentation
* AutoCAD proficiency (training provided)
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Ability to manage multiple design activities concurrently while delivering work on time and within budget
* Knowledge of configuration systems and the role of configuration management in the design process
