About the role
An opportunity has become available for an Office Supervisor (Maternity Leave Cover) to join our Bolsover Radiology practice on a 12 month max-term contract.
We are seeking someone who is experienced in leading a team, delivering exceptional patient experiences, and supporting a close-knit administrative team.
As the Office Supervisor, you will be responsible for the seamless day-to-day operation of our radiology practice. You will provide strong onsite leadership, oversee administrative workflows, and act as a key point of coordination between patients, staff, and clinicians.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
* Foster a welcoming, respectful, and patient-focused atmosphere, ensuring consistently high standards of service.
* Ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of the clinic.
* Prepare and manage staff rosters, typically completed one month in advance.
* Approve timesheets and manage staff leave in line with organisational policies and procedures.
* Lead, manage, support, and assist all administrative staff within the clinic.
* Monitor, manage, and respond to clinic-specific email correspondence in a timely and professional manner.
* Oversee stock control, including monitoring and ordering stationery and clinic consumables as required.
* Foster and maintain positive working relationships between administrative and technical/clinical staff.
* Support patients and staff with billing enquiries and general administrative queries.
* Ensure patient accounts are processed accurately and in a timely manner, supporting end-of-month billing and reconciliation processes.
* Provide ongoing administrative support to the Site Supervisor and Chief Sonographer to meet the daily operational needs of the clinic.
Background and experience
* Previous experience working in a healthcare, radiology, or clinical practice environment.
* Understanding of patient billing processes, Medicare/private billing, or healthcare accounts.
* Experience supporting administrative and clinical staff.
* Proven experience in an administrative supervisory, office management, or team leadership role.
* Demonstrated experience managing and supporting administrative teams in a busy, service-driven environment.
* Experience with staff rostering, timesheet approval, and leave management.
* Strong operational experience overseeing day-to-day office or clinic workflows.
* Experience handling patient or client enquiries with professionalism and discretion.
* Exposure to billing, invoicing, and account reconciliation processes.
* High level of professionalism, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality.
