The organization is a global leader in renewable energy solutions, expanding its footprint in battery energy storage systems (BESS). As part of its growth in the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) segment, the business is building out its technical team to support project development and customer engagement.
Role Overview
To support the growth of the organization's C&I BESS portfolio. This is a techno-commercial role focused on customer engagement, solution design, and pre‐sales support, working closely with sales, engineering, and project delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the technical interface with customers, providing solution presentations, demand assessment, and technical consultation for BESS projects.
* Translate customer requirements into fit‐for‐purpose technical solutions, supporting the sales process from early engagement through to contract signing.
* Develop and deliver BESS system designs, including equipment selection, system configuration, and electrical topology.
* Prepare and manage pre‐sales technical documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and proper archiving.
* Provide end‐to‐end technical support across the sales lifecycle, ensuring solutions align with project and regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including participation in technical workshops, training sessions, and industry events.
* Support knowledge sharing within the team, contributing to continuous improvement in solution design and technical capability.
About You
* Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Automation, or related discipline.
* Experience in renewable energy, energy storage, or power systems (BESS exposure highly regarded).
* Strong understanding of energy storage systems and system integration principles.
* Ability to develop technical solutions and system designs for commercial applications.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a customer‐focused mindset.
* Strong written and verbal English communication skills, including technical documentation.
