Job Description
What you’ll do:
Carsales Data function is embarking on the next phase of its transformation. We are seeking an experienced leader who thrives at the intersection of analytics, Media and Martech, and human behavioral change.
In this pivotal role, you will be a key leader within the Data function, bringing best-in-industry analytical expertise in partnering with our Media function whose opportunities are amongst the fastest growing in the business.
5. Bring best-in-breed expertise to advance our analytical solutions (e.g. in attribution, MMM, cross-site performance optimisation) that enables carsales' Media division's continued market leadership against a backdrop of evolving market conditions
6. Define carsales' Media team's analytical approaches underpinning performance and product reporting, data commercialisation, data-enabled client partnerships and sales enablement
7. Contribute to the medium-term (~3-12 month) plans in Media and breaks these down into quarterly OKRs that can be executed by smaller teams
8. Build relationships across Data, Media, Product and Technology to deliver on decision-support and data commercialisation initiative
9. Where necessary accelerates the end-to-end delivery and lifecycle of complex solution
10. Providing craft leadership to analytics specialists
Qualifications

14. Experiences leading teams of 3-5 data specialists that deliver cross-functional work with business and technology teams
15. Well versed in the application of quantitative methods within Media and Marketing analytics supported by a High degree of organisation and practical execution disciplines
16. Skilled in two or more programming languages of their area of specialisation –– e.g. SQL, Python, Java, Scala and experience with cloud data platforms and analytic tools including – Snowflake, dbt, Thoughtspot, Tableau
