Overview
Balance Mayfield Aquatics centre provides a variety of Learn to Swim programs tailored to individual needs, from beginners through to competition. Balance also provides school swimming programs and group bookings. Balance has an opportunity for a casual swimming instructor to join our experienced and passionate team.
Responsibilities
As a casual swimming instructor you will join a team committed to teaching and maintaining a safe, supportive learning environment. Responsibilities include delivering Learn to Swim programs, adapting teaching styles to accommodate different learning needs, updating students and parents on progress, and building relationships with schools and external organisations. Maintain a Child Safe environment at all times.
Qualifications
* Certifications required: Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety Licence, First Aid, CPR (yearly renewal) and Working with Children Check (WWCC).
* Demonstrated high energy and passion for teaching; ability to lead while teaching and build relationships with students, parents, and external partners.
* Strong communication skills.
