Salary: AU$65,000.00 – AU$78,000.00 per year
Steel Window Design is Australia's leading steel window and door manufacturer. Our steel fabricator roles are fundamental to our ongoing success, and you will be joining a friendly, hardworking team who are passionate about delivering a quality product and service to our clients.
Responsibilities
* Custom fabrication of windows and doors. All our pieces are custom made to measure; no two pieces are the same.
* Use of oxy for straightening complex lock boxes and other shapes.
* Rolling steel for arch‑shaped windows, doors, and mirrors.
* Computer‑aided drafting (CAD) for laser cutting.
* Product design and development with onsite drafting team.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience in metal fabrication:
* TIG welding
* MIG welding
Personal Attributes
* Ability to pick things up quickly.
* Attention to detail with a focus on time management.
* Comfortable taking direction from management while also being able to work autonomously.
* Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team environment.
* Punctual and reliable, possessing a strong work ethic.
* Maintains a neat and tidy presentation.
