Role Description
This is a full-time role located in the Greater Sydney Area for a Traffic Management Planner/Designer. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing traffic management plans, traffic guidance schemes, risk assessments, swept paths, to ensure the safety and efficiency of roadways and construction zones. They will collaborate with clients, local councils, and regulatory authorities to meet approval requirements and ensure compliance with traffic control regulations. The role also involves providing support to the operations team and ensuring that project designs align with industry standards and safety requirements.
Qualifications
* Strong knowledge of Traffic Management Planning, including developing and designing compliant traffic control plans, and conducting risk assessments.
* Proficiency in using traffic management design software and creating accurate risk assessments for traffic operations.
* Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills to liaise effectively with local councils, clients, and regulatory authorities.
* Understanding of safety standards, regulations, and relevant industry accreditations related to traffic management.
* Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail to address logistical and design challenges effectively.
* Prior experience in traffic management planning, and/or transportation work is advantageous.
* Relevant certifications in traffic management, road safety, or transport planning would be beneficial.
