Material Planning Manager Position
The role of Material Planning Manager involves leading a team of Material Planners and coordinating asset movements in production through the supply chain.
* Applicants should have experience with SAP or similar ERP systems, as well as strong leadership skills and knowledge of supply chain processes.
* Responsibilities include deploying action plans for process performance improvement, risk management, and cost efficiency, as well as managing delivery schedules in line with project needs.
* Successful candidates will also be able to define, improve, and validate improvement projects, monitor and review weekly/monthly KPIs, and manage suppliers' performances KPIs & raw material coverage according to targets.
* Additionally, they will collaborate with Procurement on risk/impact management process including supplier selection.
Key qualifications for this position include demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and manage a team, IT savvy with experience using SAP or similar ERP, a sound understanding of supply chain and material planning, and significant experience in a similar role, ideally within a similar heavy industry.
