Job Title: Maintenance Officer
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Officer to join our team at Levande Caves Beach. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance, basic plumbing, general repairs and building upkeep.
The role plays an essential part in keeping our village safe, functional, and welcoming for our residents. As a Maintenance Officer, you will support the day-to-day upkeep of the village by completing tasks such as cleaning, waste management, and mowing.
We are looking for someone with general maintenance experience across basic plumbing, repairs, and routine upkeep. You should also have experience with mowing and outdoor equipment, as well as cleaning and waste management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carrying out routine maintenance, basic plumbing, general repairs and building upkeep
* Completing cleaning tasks and supporting village presentation
* Managing waste processes, including council bins
* Maintaining accurate maintenance records using online systems
* Operating outdoor equipment, including mowing
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities. You should also be patient and respectful when interacting with older residents.
Requirements:
* General maintenance experience across basic plumbing, repairs, and routine upkeep
* Experience with mowing and outdoor equipment
* Cleaning and waste management experience
* Basic computer skills to log and update maintenance tasks
* Ability to lift/move up to 15kg
* Current Driver's Licence
