Electrical Engineer Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in custom-made high-power motor controls and other power conversion subsystems development, analysis, simulation, design, control, programming, layout, construction, troubleshooting, and testing.
* The primary responsibility of this role is to support the development and application of high-power, high-efficiency motor controls, drives, active front end rectifiers, and other power conversion systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and implement complex power and control systems for unique underwater robotic and electromechanical systems.
* Perform diverse activities associated with the development and implementation of high-power motor controls and other power conversion subsystems.
* Work closely with mechanical, software, and systems engineers to solve problems and architect a working system.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
This role requires the following skills and qualifications:
* Master's degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* Minimum 8 years of practical technical experience with focus and demonstrated expertise in custom-made high-power motor controls and other power conversion subsystems development, analysis, simulation, design, control, programming, layout, construction, troubleshooting, and testing.
* Ability to obtain and maintain a United States Government Department of Defense Security Clearance.
* Must be a US citizen.
