As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the safe and efficient operation of concrete plants in the Central West region. Your primary goal will be to maximize the performance of people, plant, and fleet while meeting operational standards and exceeding customer service expectations.

You will take a leading role across the Concrete business, ensuring all sites implement Holcim operational standards consistently. This will involve overseeing organisational capability by implementing key controls, engaging with plant staff and drivers, and providing strong leadership in areas such as health and safety, the environment, operations management, cost management, and operational improvement.
">
Further responsibilities include ensuring all plants have detailed plans in place to achieve full environmental standards and compliance requirements. You will also be responsible for proactive community engagement and reporting variances and taking actions as required, including on raw materials, distribution, labor, and maintenance costs.

Required Skills and Qualifications
">
To succeed in this role, you will need:
">
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, business management, or related disciplines (preferred)
* Strong and hands-on management experience in construction-related fields - preferably concrete and/or aggregates or related heavy manufacturing sectors
* Credible experience in HR and Industrial Relations
* Well-developed leadership and team building skills
* Well-organised and self-motivated
* Proven capability to self-manage
* Sound communication skills
* Experience in SAP, Excel, Word, MS Project
