We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our team at Class. In this role, you will work closely with our development, automation, and product teams to define business requirements, refine user workflows, and drive the design and implementation of innovative product features. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring solutions align with business objectives while maintaining compliance and security standards. As a key player in shaping our product roadmap, you will contribute to the ongoing evolution of the suite of cloud-based solutions, helping our customers streamline operations and improve efficiency. Responsibilities Liaise with stakeholders to gather requirement details, test data, and other supplementary materials to allow development to begin. Develop business requirements, functional specifications, and high-quality user stories with acceptance criteria. Work with Product, UX, and development teams to gather and document non-functional requirements. Maintain an overall view of the desired end-state for processes, including identifying security risks and compliance considerations. Assist in the design, build, and testing of applications that will transform current business processes. Drive the selection of appropriate business analysis methods, tools, and techniques, selecting appropriately from plan-driven/predictive approaches or more adaptive (iterative and agile) approaches. Produce high-level and detailed business models, prepare business cases, and oversee the development and implementation of solutions, considering the implications of change on the organization and all stakeholders. Work with the product team on requirements and solution design for new features and enhancements to the existing product roadmap. Coach and mentor BAs to define processes for gathering requirements and documentation. Requirements Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or equivalent industry experience. A minimum of five years of industry experience. Strong technical ability and understanding of software development in an Agile environment. Demonstrated experience in Agile projects, including methods, practices, tools, and mindset, with a strong delivery focus and customer-centric approach. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Expertise in SMSF accounting and/or auditing processes. The ability to simplify complex problems and explain them in clear, simple terms. Strong capability to understand and document business requirements. Strong Agile business analysis skills, including writing well-structured, testable user stories. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to set and document standards. A strong understanding of APIs, data modeling, SQL, and Power BI. Knowledge of SaaS, PaaS, and on-premises environments. Familiarity with testing processes and quality control. Experience using Atlassian JIRA and Confluence. Experience using Microsoft Visio or other relevant tools (e.g., Draw.io ).
