The Role:
We have a permanent position based at Tomago for an experienced Mechanical & Hydraulic Fitter, working a 4‑day week roster (Monday – Thursday). This role will involve working on mine vehicles conducting a variety of servicing, repair, troubleshooting/fault finding and maintenance work.
To be successful:
* Be a trade qualified fitter (or equivalent) with strong hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge
* Have the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and follow instructions and work procedures.
* Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Demonstrate a high quality of workmanship, and attention to detail.
* Be physically capable to perform repetitive tasks – lifting, bending, twisting.
* Successfully complete a pre‑placement medical including D&A testing.
