Bechtel has been selected by Western Sydney Airport Co as its Delivery Partner for the Western Sydney Airport, a $5.3 billion greenfield facility in Badgerys Creek, Recent South Wales. This will be a landmark project for both New South Wales and Australia and is due for completion at the end of 2026.
Bechtel has an opportunity for a highly skilled environmental professional to come on board as Environmental Manager on this transformational project. The role will be based on site Badgerys Creek, Western Sydney.

**What You'll Be Doing**:
You will have technical responsibility for:
- interpreting complex requirements,
- formulating scopes of work, plans, and methodologies
An effective communicator, you will be someone who can lead a team of environmental advisors including providing technical support for environmental requirements.
**What You're Good At**:
A qualified professional, you will also have significant environmental management experience on construction projects with advanced knowledge of development and implementation of environmental management systems in the construction industry.
It is necessary that you have demonstrated experience in national and NSW regulations and regulatory/resource agencies' permitting processes and reporting.
You will have experience in managing and/or providing technical oversight of environmental subcontractors or consultants, solid understanding of geographic information systems (GIS) and be a Lead Auditor for ISO 14001.
