Role – Systems Engineer

Location: 100% Onsite with the client (non‐negotiable)
About the Role:
We're seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to support major ICT initiatives, with a strong focus on Mobility & Integration Systems. This role will see you maintaining, enhancing, and supporting Mobile ICT systems including MobileIron, cloud platforms, and key integration components. If you bring solid Level 2/3 troubleshooting capability, enjoy hands‐on technical problem‐solving, and thrive in a collaborative environment, this is an excellent long‐term opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
You will:
* Maintain and improve MICT systems, including patching and small capability uplifts.
* Investigate, design, implement, and test system improvements and integrations (e.g., Cisco VPN monitoring tools).
* Develop and update technical documentation for system changes.
* Ensure devices meet hardening, vetting, and onboarding security requirements.
* Support software development, deployment, and configuration across MobileIron environments.
* Manage vendor relationships, particularly MobileIron vendors.
* Research, design, configure, and administer cloud‐based enterprise systems and Azure cloud tenancy.
* Diagnose server/network faults, manage incidents, outages, and disaster recovery processes.
* Support cloud project development, including validation/testing, documentation, updates, backups, VM maintenance, certificates, and security compliance monitoring.
Essential Skills & Experience
To be successful, you must have:
* Experience with Intune or a major MDM solution (mandatory).
* Strong Windows Server/Windows Admin background.
* Experience managing Microsoft Azure tenancy and cloud enterprise systems.
* Proven ability to troubleshoot server/network issues and support disaster recovery.
* Hands-on knowledge of software deployment, systems integration, and test environments.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
* Strong technical documentation skills.
* Experience with Cisco VPN monitoring (highly desirable).
