Job Summary
Temporary to permanent position for the right candidate.
Bunbury location.
$70k + Super on a yearly basis.
This position is offered on casual basis working full-time hours with the possibility to be transferred to permanent basis for the right candidate, with an immediate start available.
Responsibilities
Provide administration and accounting support to the management team.
Assisting with cost control and time entry/payroll support to the accountant.
Support HR and other office functions where required.
Weekly timesheets for employees and subcontractors are processed and entered into the payroll system, followed by the weekly payroll processing and distribution of funds.
Maintaining records of all financial transactions, such as purchase orders, invoices, and statements, is managed through MEX and MYOB.
Meet organisational objectives in the relevant areas.
Prepare and follow-up Accounts payable and Receivable as requested by the Accountant.
Reconciliation and checking of timesheets and accounts for Accountant to approve.
Preparing analysis of accounts and job costs and producing weekly and monthly reports.
Establish yourself professionally and to company standards.
Qualifications
Min 4 years' experience in Accounts/Administration.
Previous experience with MYOB.
Previous experience performing payroll duties.
Ability to assist with all-rounder duties (reception, office administration, payable, etc.).
Great communication, writing, interpersonal skills, and an ethical mindset.
Ability to problem solve and solution orientated.
Ability to work alongside management.
Familiarity with accounting packages and proficient in Microsoft office.
Certificate in Business or Accounting – desirable.
