About the Role:
We're looking for a motivated and eager-to-learn person to join our team on a Part-time basis hours a week) as a Procurement and Supplier Relationship Operations Support. In this role, you'll help support our clients by obtaining quotes, placing orders, and working with suppliers for both products and services.
You don't need a background in procurement — we'll train you on everything you need to know, including our systems, processes, and way of working.
You'll work closely with both our internal teams and external suppliers to make sure our clients get what they need, on time and within budget.
What You'll Do:
* Obtain quotes and place orders for products and services based on client needs
* Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers and our internal teams (like engineering, operations, and projects)
* Negotiate prices, delivery times, and service agreements with suppliers
* Keep track of supplier performance to make sure orders are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards
* Work with internal teams and clients to make sure all orders match requirements
* Help bring new suppliers on board and make sure they meet our standards
* Keep accurate records of all procurement activities and regularly update the team on order status or any issues
* Look for ways to improve how we do things and suggest ideas to make processes better
