Hudson is assisting a statutory agency in sourcing a suitable Officer with demonstrated research skills and the ability to prepare concise, clear reports and papers.
You will be reporting to the Committee Secretary in accordance with policies and guidelines, providing analysis and advice for Assembly committees.

The key responsibilities of this role may include:_
Managing stakeholder relationships including responding to enquiries from the public in relation to Committee business
Providing input into key documentation including preparation of briefing papers and other background material for consideration by committees
Developing and maintaining knowledge of procedures, Parliamentary law and practice
Undertaking complex research and analysis relevant to committee inquiries
Well-developed research and analytical skills
The ability to accurately analyse and summarise information
The ability to work effectively and collaboratively with key stakeholders, public servants, officials and other organisations and agencies
Effective time management skills.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Knowledge and understanding of Parliamentary processes will be well regarded (or the ability to quickly acquire this knowledge).
