Position Information
Responsible to the Principal for assisting in a range of school, classroom and office activities, including record keeping, book keeping, other clerical duties, reception, operating and maintaining classroom and office equipment, purchasing, preparing and maintaining stock and learning/resource materials.
Ellalong Public School is excited to open a new public preschool as part of the NSW Government's commitment to deliver 100 new public preschools by 2027.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Principal with administrative tasks in the preschool setting.
* Keep accurate records, manage book keeping, perform other clerical duties.
* Operate and maintain classroom and office equipment and manage stock.
* Engage with teachers and students to support classroom activities.
Qualifications and Selection Criteria
* Effective communication skills.
* Ability to meet deadlines.
* Ability to work with teachers and students.
* Proficiency in office procedures; accounting procedures; word processing; computer operations; classroom/office equipment; library procedures; hospitality and/or design and technology; science.
Special Notes
It is anticipated that the start date will be 1st Term 3, 2026 (20 July 2026).
