Woodridge State High School is looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Workplace Health and Safety Advisor to join our team. As the Workplace Health and Safety Advisor, you will:
* Provide and coordinate workplace health and safety services.
* Perform the role of Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator, communicating effectively with doctors, allied health professionals, line managers, injured employees, and others.
This role is offered on a temporary full-time basis until 12 December 2025, unless otherwise determined.

About The Role
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Advising management on accident prevention, hazard identification and control, health and safety promotion, environmental and risk issues related to students, staff, and contractors.
* Conducting proactive risk assessments and inspections to identify hazards and unsafe practices.
* Developing and coordinating training on health and safety topics to ensure legislative and departmental compliance.
* Maintaining communication with the Workplace Health and Safety Committee through regular reports and feedback on activities.
