The role focuses on supporting infants and paediatric clients with cerebral palsy through Early Intervention, with a potential caseload that includes clients of all ages. The therapy centre in Erina is well-resourced with equipment and technology, and supports onsite, home, school, and community visits as needed.
The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team and have opportunities for mentorship, professional development, and collaboration within a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to a strong team culture that is supportive, social, client-focused, and holistically oriented.
* Provide occupational therapy services to infants and paediatric clients with cerebral palsy through Early Intervention, with a mixed caseload across ages.
* Utilise a well-resourced therapy centre with equipment and technology (e.g., LiteGait Trainer, Q-Pads, Magic Mirror, Eye-Gaze Devices, telepractice equipment) and deliver services onsite as well as home/school/community visits as needed.
* Balance independent practice with collaborative decision-making to shape care provision.
* Engage in extensive professional development, clinical support, and mentorship to support career growth.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (occupational therapists, speech pathologists, and physiotherapists) and mentor or supervise new graduates and students where appropriate.
* Manage a mixed paediatric-focused caseload to establish a solid foundation of experience.
* Contribute to research collaboration and influence evidence-based practice where opportunities arise.

Qualifications
* Relevant qualifications in Occupational Therapy.
* Evidence of current AHPRA registration or a willingness to attain it.
* A current driver's license.
