About the role
Support education and professional development for Recovery and Anaesthetic Nursing staff. Work under the Nurse Educator Level 3 to coordinate training programs and foster a high-performing, collaborative team focused on quality patient outcomes
Key duties of the role
* Coordinate education and training for Recovery and Anaesthetic Nursing staff
* Lead and mentor staff to build capability and team culture
* Support development and evaluation of unit education programs
* Promote best practice and alignment with policies and standards
* Contribute to quality improvement and patient flow initiatives
Skills and Experience
* Registered Nurse with current NMBA registration and practising certificate
* Minimum 3 years post-registration experience in Recovery or Anaesthetic nursing
* Demonstrated experience in clinical education, mentoring or staff development
* Strong leadership, problem-solving and communication skills
* Knowledge of relevant legislation, standards and quality improvement processes
