Rehabilitation Consultant: Empowering Independence
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team as a Rehabilitation Consultant.
This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives by helping clients regain their independence and achieve their goals.
Job Description
You will be responsible for undertaking Occupational Therapy assessments, developing and implementing effective rehabilitation plans, and designing intervention programmes to improve functional performance and work capacity.
* Conducting thorough assessments of clients' daily living skills, home environments, and workplace settings to identify areas for improvement.
* Developing and implementing tailored rehabilitation plans to help clients overcome barriers and achieve maximal work participation.
* Collaborating with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Australian recognised degree qualification in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA accreditation.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey.
* A high level of customer service focus.
* Ability to work in the community and have access to own vehicle.
* Current or able to obtain Working with Children Check and Police Clearance.
