Role Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and hands-on Supervisor to lead and support our front-of-house team. You will play a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations, upholding service standards, and contributing to the overall success of the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage business phone calls and reservations professionally during operating hours.
* Lead and support front-of-house staff to ensure outstanding customer service and smooth team performance.
* Collaborate with the management team to meet sales targets and drive operational excellence.
* Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Handle customer concerns promptly and professionally to maintain a positive brand image.
* Monitor food and beverage presentation and quality throughout service.
* Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety regulations.
* Provide input on menu development and identify opportunities for service improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or Supervisor in a busy restaurant is preferred.
* Current NSW RSA is preferred.
* Strong communication and customer service skills; bilingual abilities are a plus.
* Good command of spoken and written English.
* Professional appearance, positive attitude, and keen attention to detail.
* Passion for food, hospitality, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
* Sushi-making experience is highly regarded.
