Our client, a large Federal Government agency, is seeking a highly skilled senior project manager to join their IT team and deliver a vital project with a focus on procurement and contract management.
Key duties and responsibilitiesManaging a program of work including high-risk or complex projects;Managing multiple projects concurrently;Leading a multi-disciplinary team with diverse interfaces;Providing strategic planning, mapping, and modelling development;Developing project documentation to high standards within specified timeframes;Preparing and maintaining project schedules;Building and maintaining stakeholder relationships;Managing project risks and issues, escalating as necessary;Preparing progress reports;Managing resources for projects and/or programs.Key Selection CriteriaResponsibility for defining, documenting, and successfully completing complex projects, using and adapting project management methods and tools;Ensuring effective project monitoring, control processes, change management, risk management, and quality assurance;Monitoring and controlling resources, revenue, and expenditures against budgets;Managing stakeholder expectations and engagement strategies;Leading scoping, requirements definition, and prioritization for large initiatives;Negotiating with stakeholders to manage priorities and conflicts;Establishing and managing requirements baselines and change processes;Facilitating stakeholder communication and engagement activities;Providing feedback to promote understanding and support decision-making;Ensuring project teams adhere to organisational quality standards and driving process improvements.If interested, please submit your resume by clicking 'Apply Now'.
