Full Time permanent position within a dedicated Council Operations team.
Role Overview
Responsible for maintenance of parks, gardens and recreational facilities. Engage in waste management and minor civil works for community projects. Contribute to landscaping projects and uphold environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform grounds maintenance in community and minor road works.
* Assist in minor civil works and deliver waste management services.
* Conduct weeding, snipping and mowing operations.
* Disposal of debris and litter from recreation areas and communities.
* Assist with waste collection, disposal and ongoing maintenance of the community landfill site as per Council Standards.
* Maintain all equipment and plant in safe, clean and serviceable condition.
* Maintain a safe working environment and ensure WHS regulations are adhered to.

Requirements
* Experience in parks and gardens maintenance, landscaping, mowing and general outdoor works.
* Ability to operate and maintain tools, plant and equipment safely.
* Knowledge of work health and safety practices.
* Good time management and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Clear communication skills and a strong work ethic.
* White Card (or ability to obtain).
* First Aid Certificate (or ability to obtain).
* Criminal History Check issued within last 3 months.
* Current Working with Children's Clearance (Ochre Card).
