About the Role
We're looking for a proactive and people-focused Accountant to join our Business Advisory team. You'll work closely with both clients and internal team members to provide timely advice, ensure compliance, and strengthen the financial performance of our diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities
Compliance & Advisory
* Prepare and review income tax returns, financial statements, BAS/IAS, and other compliance requirements.
* Deliver effective
tax planning
and identify proactive opportunities to improve client outcomes.
* Prepare
management reports
, forecasts, and performance insights.
Client Engagement
* Build strong, trusted relationships with clients through clear communication and responsive service in structured meetings and as needs.
* Manage client queries and liaise with the ATO and other regulatory bodies on their behalf.
* Work with clients to provide forward-looking advice, not just historic reporting.
Team & Practice Contribution
* Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional client outcomes.
* Contribute to process improvements and adopt new technology or approaches that enhance the client experience.
* Support team members where required and share knowledge as part of a learning-focused culture.
Skills & Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
* 4+ years' experience
in business advisory, public practice, or tax/accounting compliance.
* Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and confidence working with complex financial information.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
* A desire to continue learning, grow professionally, and operate effectively both independently and within a team.
Desirable
* CA/CPA qualified
, currently undertaking, or intending to commence.
* Experience using modern accounting software (Xero, XPM, MYOB, etc.) or business intelligence/reporting tools.
* Prior experience in a client-facing accounting role.
