About us
Enzed Geelong is a dynamic business that provides services to a wide range of industries operating hydraulic and pneumatic powered equipment. Our primary role is helping our clients get their machines up and running again as quickly as possible. To help us achieve this we have a Service Centre and two Hose Doctor vans that provide on-site service to our clients.

About the role
We are looking for someone with experience in mechanical trades. Our ideal candidate would be a diesel mechanic or fitter, however anyone with mechanical aptitude and experience is welcome to apply as we offer specialist TAFE accredited Hose Doctor training.
The primary role will be as an ENZED® HOSE DOCTOR® providing onsite service to our many valued clients.
At Enzed, no two days are ever the same, so you will need to enjoy meeting new challenges each day, but also, over time, you will build great relationships with our many repeat customers and get to know the machines they operate.
When not busy out in the field, you will have the opportunity to assist our team in the Service Centre. When a client walks into our store, they are usually looking for a solution to a problem. They know what they need to achieve and it’s our job to help find that solution. Quite often the ideal solution is not available for a variety of reasons, and that’s where your problem-solving skills will come to the fore.
We pride ourselves on maintaining an excellent range of hoses and fittings, but sometimes the perfect solution just isn’t available. Our job is to find a solution that works and gets our clients out the door with their problem solved.
The opportunity
We are looking for a full time Hose Technician who will provide mobile services to customers. The Job does entail some out of hours work and a rotating roster for out of hours callouts, which are generously remunerated.
The successful candidate will have the choice to have ongoing employment as a fulltime employee, or transition to the Enzed Hose Doctor franchise model, where earning potential is uncapped.
Remuneration will be in the range quoted depending on experience. Experienced mobile Hose Technicians can expect to start at the top of the range.

What you will need to bring
Essential:
* You must be willing to work in a team, as we are an outcome focussed business that draws on all available resources to get the job done.
* Have good communication and people skills.
* Enjoy challenges and have good problem solving skills
* Be computer literate and willing to learn new programs.
* Have reasonable written and verbal communication skills
* Hold a Victorian driver’s licence
* Be prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical
* Be able to demonstrate mechanical aptitude
* Be willing to undertake training
* Be willing to accept direction
Highly desirable:
· A mechanical trade qualification.

Benefits will be commensurate with qualifications/experience. Our Hose Doctors work under the Manufacturing and Associated Industries and Occupations Award 2020, however we will pay above the award and would like to discuss appropriate incentive/bonus structures with the successful candidate.
