**The company**
Launch is excited to be working with a leading Victorian Government organisation in critical community response. We are looking for a passionate Infrastructure Manager to provide IT operations management and lead the ICT Infrastructure team that manages and supports a mission critical technology environment.
**The Role**
The Infrastructure Manager will build and maintain integrated information and technology services to support operational communications specifically focused on the IT operations service portfolio.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Manage the IT operations environment and lead the teams delivering IT Infrastructure services.
- Manage/monitor all infrastructure, network, security and computer systems and platforms to meet the organisations current and future requirements.
- Create and review the infrastructure product & services roadmaps.
- Iteratively create and update the services and product catalogue, so that rest of the organisation can leverage the offering from the team.
- Proactively manage the asset and infrastructure lifecycle management and technology refresh program.
- Work with vendors and service providers to review the product lifecycles and drive technology roadmaps.
**About You**
To be successful you will need:
- Extensive/Demonstrable experience managing and leading a team in IT operations and administrating infrastructure/systems in a mission critical environment
- Strong technical knowledge of:
- Virtualisation technologies including VMWare and Citrix
- CISCO enterprise systems including Nexus and catalyst technologies
- Security technical protocols, policies and processes
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Server Systems including active directory, SQL server, cloud technologies and Office 365
- Strong understanding of incident and problem management resolution in a highly complex systems environment
- Strong people leadership skills/demonstrable current experience in leading a high performing team
- Experience in a multi-site corporate workplace with strong communication skills to lead a small team of technical professionals focused on improving the end user / customer experience.
