About the Role
We are seeking expressions of interest from qualified and experienced Aeronautical Engineers to join our Defence Aircrew life Support Equipment (ALSE) ILS Team. Work locations available for this role include our Cheltenham (VIC) Defence Support Centre, RAAF Base Pearce (WA), and RAAF Edinburgh (SA), although other locations will be considered.
Our ALSE ILS Team plays a vital role in supporting the Australian Defence Force's ALSE capability.

Key Responsibilities
To succeed in this role will require energy, discipline, and the ability to work as part of a small and dynamic team, servicing a demanding ADF client. The role will be diverse and will include:
-Development and maintenance of Program Test & Evaluation Plans
* Review of Verification & Validation (V&V) of deliverables in support of Defence ALSE acquisition projects
* Leading Test & Evaluation working groups
* Executing test procedures and accurately recording and publishing of outcomes
* Providing technical advice across the capability lifecycle
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* T&E Practitioner Essential requirements:
* Australian Citizenship
* NV1 security clearance or the ability to achieve
* Defence aviation experience
* Tertiary engineering qualification
* Post-graduate Test & Evaluation qualifications issued by Defence, accredited industry partner or global tertiary institution
* Highly Desirables requirements:
* Have or be able to obtain Chartered Status under IEAust
* Demonstrated experience with Aircrew Life Support Equipment engineering, testing and standards
* Experience in defence aviation test and evaluation, with a specific focus on AT&E and OT&E
* Demonstrated experience in ALSE and human factors integration with personnel and platforms
* Demonstrated stakeholder engagement experience across a complex array of platform, vendor and other Defence organisations
* Knowledge and practice in CASG Engineering processes and systems
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple test and evaluation priorities to support program priorities
