Customer Support Technician (Crypto Startup – Onsite Only)Surry Hills
Full-time (4 days per week) | Overnight shifts | In-office role
Join a fast-growing crypto startup providing overnight customer and platform support during off-peak trading hours. This is a full-time role condensed into four overnight shifts per week, ideal for someone who enjoys technical problem-solving, customer interaction, and working independently.
You'll be based onsite in Surry Hills and act as the primary overnight support contact, helping users in real time while monitoring platform behaviour and escalating issues as needed.
About the Role You'll support users primarily via chat, troubleshoot platform and account issues, and help identify bugs or unusual system behaviour while the platform is live. This role sits between customer support, platform monitoring, and QA-style investigation.
You will:
• Respond to customers via Discord chat
• Troubleshoot login, verification, browser, and basic platform issues
• Identify bugs or abnormal behaviour and document steps to reproduce
• Monitor platform and user activity overnight
• Escalate complex or high-impact issues to the daytime engineering team
• Work full-time hours across 4 overnight shifts per week, fully onsite
What We're Looking For
• Experience in customer support, technical support, or application/platform support
• Strong written communication skills
• Comfort troubleshooting digital products and systems
• Some exposure to QA testing, UAT, defect reporting, or incident support
• Ability to work independently and take ownership overnight
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a startup environment
• Must be able to work overnight shifts onsite in Surry Hills
