An established business within the maritime industry (over 100 years in operation), my client is looking to bring onboard a General Manager to drive and deliver on local growth initiatives.
Role: General Manager

**Salary**: $180,000 - $200,000 + Super + Bonus potential
Location: Western Sydney

**Responsibilities**:
- Full P+L responsibilities
- Managing all business units (AUS/NZ) - Sales/Finance/HR etc.
- Propose annual business plan and business unit targets (revenues and KPI's)
- Deliver growth through new business, client retention and efficiencies
- Formulate and initiate continuous improvement methods and manage change effectively
- Set appropriate performance objectives for direct reports
- Implement personal development review and deliver succession plans for key roles
- Uphold and contribute to creating a safety-first culture
- Keep up to date with industry best practices through ongoing education, conferences etc.

**Qualifications & Skills**:
- A degree in Engineering/Business/Finance etc.
- Management/leadership experience
- ** Must** have experience within the maritime industry
- Strong stakeholder management experience
- Strong communication skills
- Someone that understands the local market (AUS/NZ)
