An established business within the maritime industry (over 100 years in operation), my client is looking to bring onboard a General Manager to drive and deliver on local growth initiatives.

Salary: $180,000 - $200,000 + Super + Bonus potential

Responsibilities:
Full P+L responsibilities
Managing all business units (AUS/NZ) - Sales/Finance/HR etc.
Propose annual business plan and business unit targets (revenues and KPI's)
Deliver growth through recent business, client retention and efficiencies
Formulate and initiate continuous improvement methods and manage change effectively
Set appropriate performance objectives for direct reports
Implement personal development review and deliver succession plans for key roles
Uphold and contribute to creating a safety-first culture
Keep up to date with industry best practices through ongoing education, conferences etc.
Qualifications & Skills:
A degree in Engineering/Business/Finance etc.
Management/leadership experience
Must have experience within the maritime industry
Strong stakeholder management experience
Solid communication skills
Someone that understands the local market (AUS/NZ)
