Parking Enforcement Officer Opportunity
Join a fast-paced community law enforcement section as a Parking Enforcement Officer.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to carry out parking enforcement in our community law enforcement section. You will be responsible for detecting and monitoring breaches of NSW Road Rules, particularly in high-risk locations such as schools, shopping centres, and railway stations.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out regulatory functions, including detecting and monitoring breaches of NSW Road Rules.
* Enforce Council policies and statutory responsibilities.
* Prepare statements of evidence and liaise with solicitors.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require relevant local government experience, a current class C driver's licence, and clearance of a National Police Check.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
* Understanding of the profession and the role of local government.
* Knowledge of relevant issues and applicable legislation/regulations.
