These are permanent, full-time positions with multiple roster options available from 7/7 Day Shift (FIFO options also available) or Monday – Friday in town.**What you’ll be doing** As a Fitter at Hastings Deering, you will:* **Deliver quality service** – carry out maintenance and repairs to the highest standard, ensuring every machine is returned to peak performance.* **Follow best practice** – Research and consult the correct and latest service information systems for specific procedures, instructions and specifications.* **Do it once, do it right** – apply quality workmanship and attention to detail that prevents rework, keeps machines running longer, and minimises costly downtime.* **Work efficiently** – manage your time effectively to complete assigned tasks within target deadlines while maintaining safety and ensuring quality.* **Keep customers in the loop** – involve customers in key decisions on major repairs or replacements, and provide transparent, timely updates on job progress.* **Back genuine parts** – promote and support the use of genuine Caterpillar parts, offering trusted advice to help customers maximise the performance and reliability of their equipment.Hastings Deering is proud to be one of the top 5 Caterpillar dealerships globally.
