Their dedicated forensic team works closely with lawyers, corporations and private clients to analyse financial matters, provide expert insights and support litigation outcomes. THE OPPORTUNITY An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Forensic Accounting Manager to join a highly regarded forensic advisory team. In this role, you will work on a diverse range of complex and interesting matters including business valuations, economic loss assessments and financial investigations related to commercial disputes and family law matters. You will collaborate with experienced forensic specialists while leading engagements and providing expert insights into financial performance, risk factors and business operations. This position offers the chance to develop deep expertise in forensic accounting while contributing to meaningful legal and commercial outcomes. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and deliver business valuations and economic loss assessments across litigation and dispute engagements Analyse financial statements, statutory documents and business records to assess financial performance and entity structures Prepare detailed expert reports for court proceedings and review opposing expert opinions Investigate asset ownership, operational drivers and commercial risk factors impacting matters Manage client relationships and maintain regular communication regarding scope, timelines and deliverables Delegate and review work prepared by junior team members while providing mentoring and technical guidance Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, process improvements and technical development initiatives Assist with practice growth through professional networking and maintaining strong client relationships EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED Degree in Accounting, Business or Commerce CA or CPA qualification Completion or progress toward a Business Valuation or Forensic Accounting specialisation highly regarded Minimum 6 years’ experience in business analysis, data analytics or professional services within Australia Previous exposure to forensic accounting, business valuation or litigation support highly desirable Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information Excellent report writing skills and the ability to communicate technical findings clearly Commercial awareness with the ability to identify business risks and operational drivers Proven experience managing deadlines, workflow and client engagements A proactive and inquisitive mindset with a strong interest in forensic investigation work THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE Flexible and hybrid working arrangements Additional leave initiatives including an extra annual wellbeing day Structured professional development and study support for qualifications and memberships Regular mentoring and career development discussions Competitive employee and client referral incentive programs A collaborative culture that recognises achievements and celebrates success Regular social, inclusion and wellbeing initiatives Please note: This job is based in Australia therefore, only candidates who are permanent residents or citizens of Australia will be considered.
